Daily schedule

Meditation is practiced continuously throughout the day in silence. Periods of formal sitting meditation, walking meditation, and awareness in daily activities are complemented by Dhammatalksand meditation instructions.

During the silent part of the retreat, from the 11th untill the 19th,practicioners are required to follow the formal daily schedule.

The schedule is designed with a focus on continuous practice, with as little interruptions as possible. There are 3 breaks which can be used to do chores, bathe or rest. These breaks can also be used to do individual practice if one wishes to do so. All other practice is formally performed in group.

Before 4 a.m. and after 10 p.m. practioners are asked to stay in their rooms.
